Exhibition Centre is running a competition for emerging artists, with four prizes of $500 in material support up for grabs. This competition is being held to coincide with celebrating their relaunch, with competition winners being exhibited alongside other artists in a one night only exhibition, ’emerge | one’, in Canberra, ACT.

There is no entry fee and EXC aren’t taking any commission on works sold. All exhibiting artists on the night are in the running to win a further $500 in material support for the people’s choice award, voted on by attending guest.

This is an exclusive, invite only event, being held on Saturday December 3rd 2016. Works are to be set up on the Saturday morning, and taken down the following morning (Sunday December 4th).

To submit your work please email deb@exhibitioncentre.com.au with your name, contact details, an artist statement (max. 200 words), no more than four images of your work and full artwork details (title, materials, dimensions). Submissions close 5pm Thursday November 24th 2016 and winners will be announced the following week.
